Chewore Safari Area really is a wild, remote unspoiled Big Game Hunting Concession. Situated in the Zambezi Valley in Northern Zimbabwe, bordered to the west by Mana Pools National Park and Sapi Safari Area, to the east and south by Dande and Doma safari areas.
This is a place for clients wanting real Africa, with realistic sustainable hunting quota’s and top rate professional hunters all of whom know how to hunt hard and get results from this vast rugged concession. Hunting in this area is not for the faint-hearted!
Whilst you won’t see huge numbers of plainsgame here, it is very well known for its big leopard/tuskless elephants and old dugga boys. The vegetation varies from “Jesse bush”, which is dense and thick, Mopani woodland, riverine and open grasslands and thereare several rivers and springs that provides water for the game.
Their main camp in the concession is built along the Chenje River. Clients are accommodated in spacious east African styled tents with showers / toilets built on to the back of each tent. It has great shade and green lawns making it a cool retreat from a hard day hunting out in the field. There is a large dining room, living area and fire pit overlooking the river for those relaxing evenings around the fire.
